MΞSETT is a student platform that connects Moroccan students so they can build real projects together.
This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over it.
We keep it short and plain on purpose.
MΞSETT (Moroccan Exchange for Student Teams & Talent) is an early-stage platform for Moroccan students.
This website is the public front, and the INTRA is the community space.
For privacy questions you can reach us at the contact address listed at the end of this page.
We only collect what you choose to give us: your email address, a username, optional profile details (such as a bio, city, school or skills), and an optional profile photo.
We also collect basic technical data such as login sessions and standard server logs needed to keep the service secure.
We do not ask for more than the platform needs.
Your data lets you create and control your profile, sign in securely, appear on the Discover page if you make your profile public, and reach the community through the INTRA.
We use it to keep the platform safe, to fix problems, and to understand in general how the service is used.
We process your data to perform the service you asked for, to pursue our legitimate interest in running a safe platform, and with your consent where you explicitly choose to share something (for example, a public profile).
You can withdraw your choices at any time from your settings.
Private is the default.
Your email is never shown to other students.
If you make your profile public, it appears on the Discover page and is viewable at /u/your-username, showing only the information you explicitly chose to share.
Making your profile private again removes it from Discover.
We rely on trusted providers to run the service, including Supabase for authentication and database hosting, and Vercel for hosting this website.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own security commitments.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active.
When you delete your account, your profile and associated data are removed.
Some minimal records may be kept for a short period where the law or security requires it, then deleted.
You can access and edit your profile at any time, change your email or password, control your profile visibility, and delete your account permanently.
If you need help exercising these rights, contact us and we will respond as quickly as we can.
We protect your data with Row Level Security at the database layer, input validation, and server-side only administrative operations.
Secrets are never stored in the browser.
No system is perfect, so we also limit what we collect in the first place.
As MΞSETT grows, this policy will evolve.
When we make significant changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
Continuing to use the platform after an update means you accept the revised policy.
